Free & Legal MP3 Downloads

Since they began cracking down on file sharing programs I have been looking for an alternative legal route to obtaining my music. I do at the moment borrow cds from friends and if I like them I burn it to mp3 for my portable mp3 player, but even this is technically illegal. A lot of bands give free downloads to a couple of their tracks in the hope that if you like what you hear, you will buy the rest of the album. This form of advertising appeals to me greatly but finding new bands that give away free tracks is difficult, and I have been looking for a online hub that has a vast range of genres and musicians. CNETS music.download.com is just the site that I have been looking for. They have a vast range of talented bands music for download, and already I have three albums on my to buy list in genres that I would never had thought of even looking in before hand. So I’m happy and the music industry is happy and best of all the musicians are getting my business though me finding their music and wanting to buy it!
