How to remove starforce for good:

http://www.whoismadhur.com/2006/04/06/starforce-removal/

Getting it uninstalled from the device manager under hidden devices is the only way. The starforce removal tool does not work as it claims there's nothing to remove...

You might have to repeat the uninstallation of sf a few times... the endless booting up is very annoying, but it's worth it :)

hi there
starforce drivers are a bit like the labour party,we know they are there and just have to put up with them
on a serious note though,i have recently instaled 2 games(xtreme rally , toca 2) and both required a reboot after installing starforce drivers,my p.c rebooted and after the windows boot screen finished loading the b.s.o.d occured
after this the b.s.o.d will happen even if i restart the p.c again so its a case of safe mode, remove progarm or game, system restore> back to normal
however what right has a company got to mes up our p.c,s like this,i am sure in this high-tech age developers can design a fool proof software protection system
    good post well done!

very interesting, i'm actually writing a report on this at the moment. I would deffinately reccomend uninstalling interactual and intervideo as they both contain ResearchWare (Spyware). if you go back to boycott starforde and read below the removal tool there is a guide to manual uninstallation. The tool was never gonna work any way because those who made it are....., Starforce.
