Server Died…
Revised: June 16, 2006So it was inevitable to happen, the server did infact die a horrible horrible death. The poor thing has all sorts of weird problems with it. The motherboard is from 1998 which doesnt help matters as the hard disk controllers have died and I think the BIOS is fried too. Either the hard disk itself is dead or the controllers are making it look that way. The only way to fix this is the buy a new hard drive and a raid controller card so as to replace the onboard raid that the motherboard supplies. This costs money, money I may add that I do not posess. So in the mean time as a quick solution (and i mean quick it took me 15 mins to get this set up) I have installed server software on my pc so that at least this notice will survive online.
As for all my hostees im sorry about this downtime, im afraid due to the possible downtime it may be a good idea to find alternative hosting.
