Well hasn't is been a long and eventfull day? First things first I got sacked today at around 10am, it wasn't nice, it wasn't even expected – I loved the job and liked the people I worked with – but it happened the shock faded about 30 mins after I realised that I suddenly had no income and a lot of bills thats when panic set in. To be honest the panic didn't last all that long either, more important things cropped up when I got home, the parts for the server turned up which cheered me up a bit and my grandparents came to visit. I have tidied my room which is now a mess again five hours later with two servers (one is the web server I have been fixing and the other is my development/file/rendering server & workstation) and a laptop in here all on and all plugged into their own 15" monitors (I shall get a photo on here of it tomorrow). So you can imagine it has got quite hot in here today. Even now at midnight I have the window full open and its like midday heat in here.
So now I have three main priorities, getting another job, finish getting the server set up and get stuff sorted for next year at uni.
My CV will be done by tomorrow, followed by a 10 page snapshot portfolio. I guess they were right I know what im good at, I might as well stick with that…
