Where as before, explorers would travel the world, in search of many weird and wonderful things. We in this modern day and age are so fortunate to have the internet with which to explore and discover the many weird and wonderful things this planet has to offer. While transversing the internet I have stumbled upon a great many weird and wonderful things.
While browsing tmbo I came accross an interesting image of what looked like a spider underwater. At first people were saying it could be a swimming spider or some other land based creature and then someone knowledgbal stated it looked like an Arrow Crab.
The arrow crab simply defined, looks like an underwater spider. From the above picture I am sure you can see how the mistake is easily made.
A physical description from whozoo:
The Arrow Crab has eight spider-like legs and has a head that is exceptionally pointed at the tip. The legs of an Arrow Crab can be more than three times its body length. The body of an Arrow Crab is composed of many colors. The whole body is covered in a golden-brown color, with white, brown, or gold stripes running along the crab’s body. The ends of the legs are dark violet. As the Arrow Crab grows it will shed an outer layer of its skin called the exoskeleton.
