Well creating my cartoon generator thing and seeing that my sister has a very popular cartoon herself got me wondering wether I could do it myself. I am under no illusion that it is difficult as hell, a view which is pretty much backed up by the amount of time I have worked on my first strip. I have decided to keep to a three cell per row format for now, to keep things simple. Also if I had hours of time to put to this little venture I would get a scanner and spend tens of hours drawing, coloring and cleaning up. However I don’t have a tonne of time, so it’s not hand drawn like a lot of strips out there. I shall be using sprites which should allow me to focus more upon the script. A good start me thinks, haha! The sprites used are Cow by Wishkamon, Plant by Lautaro, People M70 by Sniper77 and Airship by hyper bowser. Rest is by me, doesn’t leave much I know. Later on I shall create sprites that can’t be found anywhere else, but only due to that reason.
I would appreciate comments and suggestions on story lines, any inspiration is a great help!
