New Sigma lens for my DSLR

February 15th, 2007

Indeed that photo above is a picture of the lens that I shall very soon have attached to my 350D. It’s so sexy and perfect for shots of wildlife, action far away and macros of objects far away three things that I love to shoot but can’t very effectively with my stock lens. The lens shown above is the SIGMA AF 70-300mm F4-5.6 Macro Super II lens, I feel 70 to 300mm should give me a big enough enlargement for day to day shots I tend to go after and the additional macro feature between 200 and 300mm shall allow me to get beautiful crystal clear closeups of insects and the like that would otherwise escape me or not be clearly seen in my photos. Don’t give up. Keep going. There is always a chance that you stumble onto something terrific. I have never heard of anyone stumbling over anything while he was sitting down. – Ann Landers
