GMTV

Thank you Sora for posting such an entertaining image while I have been busying myself at GMTV :P With that said…

Well I have had myself a fantastic week working with the production team for Entertainment Today at GMTV. They were all very accommodating and included me in the production process, which is much better than what most companies would do with people on work placement. I am really grateful to the ET team at GMTV for accepting my application for work placement and for being friendly and making me feel at home. Seeing how the entire week’s worth of work collimated into a show was an interesting experience and gave me a craving for getting into the TV studios at Uni!

I learned a lot about the production process to do with live television and a little more knowledgeable about what I shall have to do for the production being done with Joey.

A little bit of news on that production, we shall be starting the filming in two weeks, before then Joey and I shall be filling in all the pre-production paperwork and continue planning. We have rights to use three bands confirmed which is really cool, one of which is a very big band, which is even cooler. I don’t want to release too many details about the film because I still have to confer with Joey about PR work (which we are both exceptionally good at) for the film.

Shooting schedule is 6 weeks I believe during that time we need to have shot, edited and published a 45 minute film. It will be published on DVD so far as I’m aware, which I am excited about because it means I get to use my skills in DVD cover creation and produce something amazing like I did for the last film.

Any who, I have a few days rest (thus this posing before 1am) before I begin my 60 hours a week of non stop work, not that I mind I love what I do, because I do what I love! Just need to look after my heath some more.

Will it start with “Thankyou Sora for posting such an entertaining image while I have been busying myself at GMTV”? If not, then I’m not listening! ;P
