My car died *sadface*

June 26th, 2007

It would appear that bad things happen at the most inappropriate times in the most problematic of places. In my case, 30 mins before picking my sister up from school, 8 miles away from my regular garage. The problem being the connection between my gear box and the gear stick becoming disconnected and stuck in 3rd gear. I did think about maybe contacting the AA or RAC as I am supposedly a member of one of them, but then I didn’t have their number on my person at the time and none of the paperwork inside the car was relevant to my needs. Eventually after calling around I got hold of my garage and they said they could help if I get my car there. Without any pick up service numbers at hand I chose to mission it there in 3rd, yes up and down some pretty steep inclines. If at any point along the journey I was forced to stop I would not be starting again so it was indeed a gamble, but as Joey knows I like a flutter and so I headed off.

Well I made it to the garage and they should hopefully be able to fix the problem for me by tomorrow midday so for the time being I am stranded at home :( oh well…

Sorry about what happened and hopefully it’ll be fixed soon. Well car problems can happen anytime at any place. I’ve experienced it too. :( I’m on way to a very important meeting at that time when my car had problem. I called a mechanic and said that my battery is bad. Further inspection was done and they found out that my acura brakes also needs a replacement. Well, I ended up renting a car while my car is being fixed. *sighs*
