With all that has been happening recently I have hardly had time to work on the tumblr-wordpress plugin, it is currently functional just not to an extent to which I feel happy about letting it loose to the wild Internet. By the time I am finished with it, it will automatically distinguish between normal text posts and image posts namely by searching the post for an image tag and then setting that image tags location as being the tumblr image post with any following text being the description. Keep on the look out for the first beta of the plugin being released soon, best ways is to subscribe to either my tumblr feed or my blog feed, in either case they are both the same thing

I wrote an upgrade to a plugin that sounds very much like yours. In case you are interested in having a look, it is version 1.3.2 of Tumblrize. The previous version I wrote, Tumblrize 1.3, is also available on the WordPress plugin directory.
