I thought I would do a bit of digging after Brett showed interest in the knitted mooring link cover, I couldn’t find any more information on the mooring link photo but I did find one other example of where people have gotten together to create something as odd. Chicagoist wrote an article on the below photo taken of a scene where a group of people have knitted “tree-cozies”.
