Alphabet Trucks

September 1st, 2008

I stumbled upon this amazing collection of photos by Eric Tabuchi quite by accident while browsing through a collection of posts on tumblr. Originally posted on lens culture the article there states:

Tabuchi has photographed trailer trucks on empty highways, each bearing one letter of the alphabet. His set of 26 trucks is perfectly uniform in scale and composition and lighting. Uncanny. The project also serves as a sort of visual typology of truck typography.

It looks interesting, at least from an artistic point of view, on his website it states that one of the 500 copies can be bought for €26 however it does not say where from. If there are any left I may make an offer to purchase one, if Tabuchi responds to my email of course.
