It bemused me for a while to find a website called stair porn, that itself was devoted to nothing but pictures of stairs. Now while I can quite readily believe that someone, somewhere gets happy to images of stairs and that for some reason right angles does it for them however in this case the website in question while most likely up their street has nothing devilishly erotic about it or the content it hosts.
While one can rightly agree that the photos stairporn does play host to does fetishise the stair form itself it is in an appreciative way throwing good comment to form and function, commenting visually on the design and giving high-fives where necessary. In essence stairporn is a collection of very well designed, interesting stair like constructions that make the audience both admire and feel strangely attracted to what is otherwise a simple medium for moving up or down.
