I thought this was a wonderfull piece of advice and wanted to reproduce it here. I found it while searching for the search terms people had used to find photogabble. One of them was "my boyfriend has a phobia of work" it's an odd search term and I thought I would see what comes up when you search for it – well photogabble is number two in the results.
The below quote is from a reply in a forum about Commitment phobia I think that it is a very good piece of advice:
Ultimately, fear of commitment is a fear of pain, like any nuerosis. You just have to accept the fact that one day the love might end and there will be pain. People grow in different directions – its inevitable. Just please, dont waste the good time you have with someone when it is still good. Dwelling on the pain to come is absolutely useless, not to mention draining. Its like waiting to die while your whole life is in front of you.
