Now, like most of the rest of the world, I have been listening to this song a LOT. Not exactly on purpose, as I hadn’t acquired it until today, but because it is SO popular and therefore played on the radio once every 3 hours or so and I spend a LOT of my time in my room listening to the radio. It’s inevitable, really…

I love the song. It’s happy and cheerful and I don’t exactly get it… it’s just a fun and awesome song. However, this was made better when I saw the video to it. I didn’t expect him to be so cute – his voice is very misleading!
I love the way he wrinkles his nose up in the humming parts of the song…it’s just so cute. Adorable, infact. Now to teach my boyfriend this trick – I’m sure he’ll be happy to oblige! Enjoy :3

More Regina Spektor

Well it can be officially said that I am only truly a fan of two bands, Sonic Boom Six and Regina Spektor. You could count Queen but that’s more a fascination I inherited from my dad and I haven’t actually bought any of their cd’s myself. I have a lot of other music I enjoy listening to, but none that I would go all girly about if I saw them in real life… except maybe Only Son that man is a legend.

Brett mentioned that she had been interviewed this morning on BBC 6Music however as RealPlayer doesn’t install under x64 platforms and as the BBC are RealPlayers little bitch, I can’t hear it myself, if anyone could send me a recording of it I would love you forever.

In my haste yesterday morning I totally forgot to mention that Only Son opened the night at Wolverhampton singing a good selection of songs. I really liked his songs and if I had the money on me at the time I would have bought his album. I was expecting it to be available online, however it seems that it is only available in the states. Jack Dishel the guy behind Only Son is really down to earth with his fan base and will get back in touch if you message him.

So yeah, just a little update only thing that is almost as cool is the fact that it has snowed – although this does mean it is cold which is by all means shit.

45ipodcases: I don’t even own an iPod and I want one of these (anyone want to buy me an iPod?) They are iPod cases made from old 45″ records which is the most awesome feature of them, that your wrapping your music player in an old form of music media!

There are quite a few different designs to choose from and each is unique so far as I can guess as in their shop they are one time items and once its sold, it’s gone.

The company making them is based in America and they ship worldwide for $15 (

Sonic Boom Six do London

I don't know if I am going to be able to go to this one, but I thought I would promote it as Sonic Boom Six are one of my favorite bands. I have one of their albums, the other in on its way and have seen them live at the Punk Festival in Blackpool.

These guys are so worth checking out, I would describe them as a experimental reggae punk rock band lead by a female singer. If you can, see them.
